Emily Ratzlaff is a licensed physiotherapist with specific experience and training in pediatric physiotherapy. After successfully completing a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology followed by a professional degree in Physiotherapy with first class honours, she started working at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children in Winnipeg. She also has experience working in both the hospital system and private practice, where she has broadened her assessment and treatment skills. Emily has completed several extended education courses including: Orthopedic Physiotherapy for Children with Cerebral Palsy, Level One Diploma of Advanced Orthopedic Manual and Manipulative Physiotherapy, Foundations and Clinical Applications of Acupuncture, and Dry Needling. She identified a need for quality, private physiotherapy treatment for children in Winnipeg, and looks forward to helping children access care that meets their unique needs.
Services offered include: treatment for infant torticollis and plagiocephaly, assessment/treatment of motor milestones or motor skill development, treatment for physical and developmental disabilities, rehabilitation for sports injuries, rehabilitation after surgery, acupuncture, dry needling, and education/treatment of chronic pain and complex regional pain.
